Adviento: una oración pacífica

Paz

"La misericordia y la verdad se han encontrado,
la justicia y la paz se han besado.
La verdad brota de la tierra,
y la justicia mira desde los cielos." 
(Salmos 85:10­–11)

Príncipe de Paz, te buscamos.
En tierras lejanas, tus hijos
huyen de sus hogares, perseguidos por la violencia.
Sabemos que en nuestra comunidad,
no todos nuestros vecinos están a salvo de la brutalidad.

Príncipe de Paz, te buscamos.
Tu enviaste a tu hijo, Jesús,
para traer tu paz y consuelo al mundo.
En esta temporada de Adviento, renuévanos y fortalécenos
en un compromiso a tu paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento.

Príncipe de Paz, te buscamos.
Qué tu paz llene nuestros corazones
y tu gracia nuestros labios para que podamos
ser agentes de tu gracia en el mundo.
Amén.
