Draw near to me. Draw near and help me see that your love and mercy will conquer whatever challenges lay ahead. O God, help us to feed our sisters and brothers who are hungry. Grant us that as a nation, we may work to end famine and invest in international development assistance for the future all God’s children.
Draw near to Congress and the president, O God. Help them to make wise choices that we may care for people in need, especially in countries suffering from famine and near-famine conditions.
Draw near to us, O God for your love is from everlasting to everlasting and in you we find peace.
