Shirley Mullen

Dr. Shirley Mullen is president of Houghton College, where she strives to prepare faith-driven young people for a life of integrated service, justice-seeking, and continued learning. She created the Center for Faith, Justice, and Global Engagement at Houghton College in 2001, and in 2013 hosted a Faith & Justice Symposium on food security. Mullen is former provost and professor of history at Westmont College. She is a trustee of Fuller Seminary, a board member of the Allegany County United Way, and member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Mullen was named one of Christianity Today’s Top 50 Women to Watch. She is Evangelical.
