Bread for the World Sunday Resources
Bread for the World Sunday is an opportunity for churches to renew their commitment to ending hunger and poverty in God’s world. On October 17 (or another designated day) worship communities across the country will join together to lift up their voices on behalf of hungry people.
Through education, prayer, and music, worshipping communities will recommit themselves to the fight against hunger and poverty in our country and around the world.
By taking part in Bread for the World Sunday you will join others as we rejoice in our calling as Jesus’ disciples – equipped and emboldened to act, creating hope and opportunity for hungry people.
