Since Mother’s Day, Bread for the World’s Recipe for Hope campaign has been asking us to take specific actions in response to the global hunger crisis. On this last week of the campaign, we are reminded of the importance of prayer, and you will find prayers for your personal use at www.bread.org/recipeforhope. On Tuesday, June 17, hundreds of people will be visiting their members of Congress in Washington, asking for increased spending on poverty-focused development assistance. You are encouraged to support their efforts by making a phone call to you members of Congress. More information can be found at the above web address.
