Recipe for Hope

May 19: Week Three

Bulletin Announcements: May 19, 2008

Use this version to cut and paste into your bulletin or newsletter:

This week, in response to the growing hunger crisis, Bread for the World’s Recipe for Hope Campaign urges us to flood our local food pantry with non-perishable food items. To help those overseas who are suffering from high prices and food shortages, we are asked to contact our members of Congress and urge them to include an additional $1.8 billion dollars in emergency food aid in the Supplemental Appropriations bill they are now considering. More details and contact information for senators and representatives are available at www.bread.org/recipeforhope.
