I wanted to thank the Erie Times-News for the article on the Bread for the World workshop ("Bread for the World to hold workshop," Erie Times-News, Feb. 23).
Coverage of religious and faith issues is critically important. At the workshop we learned about Bread for the World, a faith-based Christian anti-hunger advocacy movement, and what actions we as individuals, churches or faith-based organizations can take to address hunger issues.
Six new churches will now participate in advocacy campaigns called "Offerings of Letters." If anyone wants more information, contact Larry Hollar, regional organizer at email@example.com. Please keep the news coming on faith-based events!
