Raleigh Church To Host Conference on Hunger

RALEIGH -- A national interfaith conference on hunger will convene this weekend at a Raleigh Roman Catholic Church.
"Hunger No More" will provide opportunities to learn more about innovative approaches to combating hunger. David Beckmann, president of Bread for the World, will give the keynote address. The conference opens tonight with an OxFam Hunger Banquet highlighting the disparity of access to food across the globe. Beckmann will speak Saturday.
The conference, sponsored by the Franciscan Coalition for Justice and Peace, will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road.
