Offering of Letters 2007: Seeds of Change
In Bread for the World's 2007 Offering of Letters, members, staff and coalition partners worked diligently to create a food and farm policy that supports hungry people in this country and farmers of modest means.
Bread for the World and many religious bodies joined forces with environmental and taxpayer groups to campaign for reform of the farm bill. We have shaken up traditional farm bill politics and made the House and Senate farm bills better than they would have otherwise been. However, the fight isn't over.
