Driving

Street Parking is not available for day long parking in the Capitol Hill Area.  If you want to drive into town, the public garage at Union Station charges $16 per day.  Access is available on Massachusetts Avenue NE from a ramp on the east side of Union Station or from H Street NE.  You can also leave your car at an outlying metro station offering all-day parking and ride the metro to the Capitol South station on the Blue/Orange line or to Union Station on the Red Line.  A map of the D.C.-area metro system shows the stations that provide all-day parking with fares.  You do need, however, a $5 Smart Trip Card to exit from these park and ride stations.

Metro

The morning registration and briefing take place at Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol Street, NW, 202-543-4200.  The nearest metro station is Capitol South on the Blue/Orange Lines (about a 5-10 minute walk) or Union Station on the Red Line (about a 10-15 minute walk.)  Please refer to the map of Capitol Hill for directions to Church of the Reformation.  The trip planner at on the Metro Transit Authority Web site will give you directions and estimated travel time from your starting point.  It will also help you with bus schedules.  The 96 and 97 buses drop off within a block of the church.
