New Online Resource: www.evangelicaladvocacy.org
Evangelical Advocacy on Foreign Assistance
Recently, Bread for the World Institute partnered with Asbury Seminary and Eastern University to develop a curriculum website that examines the connection between evangelical advocacy and U.S. foreign assistance. This new resource brings together three diverse institutions to inform and equip students at evangelical colleges and seminaries on the pressing issues of global poverty and advocacy. However, anyone interested in prayerfully and scripturally engaging government on the issue of global poverty can benefit from this material. The site's free curriculum explores four distinct themes: (1) A Theology of Poverty in Today’s World; (2) Christians Engaging Government; (3) Government Initiatives Against Global Poverty; and (4) Advocacy on US Government Foreign Assistance.
