Voices of Faith: Rev. Suzii Paynter

2 MIN READ

“I would just appeal to the folks that are really thinking about the health of their own family and the nutritious nature of the food they’re feeding and the many choices they have. Thinking how to share and how to be good stewards of what they’ve learned about food to be able to take it to the rest of their community. This is truly a way of giving back and understanding that they’re being given the gift of special knowledge about food. There’s people in their own community who need better food every day.”

Rev. Suzii Paynter is the executive coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, which is a Christian network comprised of churches and individuals that seek to spread the hope of Christ. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Baptist World Alliance and serves on the board of Christian Ethics Today.

Paynter has been recognized by the Sierra Club, American Association of Retired Persons, and Samaritan Counseling Centers. Her work has also been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal and The New Yorker.
