Bio
Dr. Suzanne Martin is an organizational leadership consultant, trainer, coach, and qualitative researcher. She has decades of experience listening to and helping individuals, teams, and organizations transform their situations and impact their communities for good. She also works as a senior consultant with Warren Averett Workplace, a career and human capital consulting firm, and Global Leadership Initiatives, Inc. Martin was adjunct faculty and director of leadership education, among other roles, at Samford University for 20 years.
Martin has been organizing Bread for the World in Alabama for the last 25 years. She is a leader with the Alabama Bread Team and annually leads her church in a dynamic Offering of Letters campaign. In 2023, Martin received special recognition from Bread for the World for her advocacy and leadership in Alabama.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Religion from Samford University, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Regent University. She is a member of the Ministry Committee and Godly play teacher at Baptist Church of the Covenant in Birmingham, Alabama. She is Baptist. Birmingham, Alabama.
