Linda Butcher

Bio

Linda Butcher serves as Vice President for Finance and Administration at Bread for the World, where she oversees finance, human resources, operations, administration, information systems, and facilities management. As a member of the senior leadership team, she helps ensure that the organization’s resources, people, and operations effectively support Bread’s mission.

With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, Linda brings expertise in financial management, organizational operations, governance, and strategic planning. Throughout her career, she has partnered with executive leaders and boards to strengthen financial stewardship, enhance organizational effectiveness, and support sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Bread, Linda served as Vice President at the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), where she led finance, operations, human resources, and administration for a national nonprofit membership organization. She previously served as Executive Director of International Student Conferences, Inc. (ISC), overseeing organizational management and international programs. Her career also includes positions at the Korea Economic Institute of America and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Washington, D.C., supporting public affairs and international engagement initiatives. Linda began her career in the office of Senator John Kerry, focusing on foreign policy, environmental issues, and constituent services. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and dual MBA and MA degrees from Johns Hopkins University. She serves on the Board of Directors of International Student Conferences, Inc.
