Bio
Rev. Noah Mata is a pastor, communicator, church planter and advocate for justice whose work lives at the intersection of faith, public life and the movement to end hunger. As a Church Giving Advisor at Bread, Noah equips churches, donors and faith leaders to engage in advocacy that addresses the root causes of hunger in the United States and around the world.
With more than a decade of cross-generational pastoral experience, Noah brings a deeply relational and prophetic voice to conversations about faith and social justice. He has served as a Program Director for Hope for Kids, serving a wide range of families and youth, including vulnerable communities in Philadelphia. He is also a former church planter in Washington D.C., centering the church community around practical justice efforts and mobilizing congregants to view acts of compassion through spiritual formation. Internationally, Noah served on the board for JamQuest, galvanizing youth to fund education for children in Kenya and the Philippines.
