Bailey Schwartz is the Indiana State Organizer for Bread for the World. Previously, she served as a Community Engagement Specialist for WFYI Indianapolis and as an Indy Metro Community Organizer for Faith in Indiana. Bailey holds a Master of Social Work degree, concentrating on community and organizational leadership, from Indiana University Indianapolis (2022), and a Bachelor of Social Work from Siena Heights University (2019).
A passionate advocate for social justice, sustainability, and community engagement, Bailey is committed to fostering equity, authenticity, and justice for all. Her career highlights include coalition building, leadership development, program evaluation, and grassroots organizing. She has a proven track record in mobilizing communities, driving capacity-building efforts, and empowering marginalized groups through strategic initiatives. Her overarching goal is to empower communities and drive social change through education, grassroots mobilization, and strategic organizing for racial and economic justice. She believes in the transformative power of storytelling and innovative solutions to create a more equitable and sustainable future.
